CEQA Assistance for the Point Blue Conservation Science Roots Program
Butte County RCD contributed to the Roots Program by assisting with the development of the CEQA documentation needed to launch and implement the initiative. RCD support helped Point Blue Conservation Science move forward with habitat restoration and climate resilience projects on farms and ranches, with a strong emphasis on reaching historically underserved communities. By helping navigate the environmental review process, the RCD helped Point Blue to expand its efforts through the STRAW and Working Lands programs, ultimately supporting more equitable and impactful conservation work across California’s working landscapes.
