4) The Butte County Resource Conservation District is seeking potential contractor’s interest in providing services for hand treatments in the Forks of Butte Recreation Area. Hand-treated preparation requires cutting live brush and piling the material. This is to be accomplished while maintaining some residual snags, large down woody material, and stream buffers to meet wildlife and hydrologic requirements. This project is in collaboration with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Redding Field Office and therefore will adhere to Federal and State regulation and Best Management Practices that are outlined in the contract and identified in the Federal environmental compliance documentation
