Wolfy Rougle,  Planning and Watershed Program Manager

A smiling Euro-American woman wearing a flannel shirt and charcoal smudges on her face

Wolfy is a botanist and CEQA-NEPA practitioner who has developed environmental documents for a broad array of RCD and partner projects, including the Concow Resilience Project, the City of Chico Vegetative Fuels Management Plan EIR, and now the Upper Butte Creek Forest Health Initiative on the Lassen National Forest.  While serving as one of the RCD's Forest Health Watershed Coordinators from 2019-2022, she compiled the Butte Forests Plan, and also founded the Butte County Prescribed Burn Association

Wolfy holds an M.P.A. (Master's in Public Administration) from CSU, Chico (2019), where her thesis explored prescribed fire policy as it affects private lands.  Wolfy's favorite thing about Butte County is watching its secret understory re-surface after fires.
