Thibault specializes in technical writing and project management in relation to forest conservation and community wildfire protection. He is currently managing our Concow Pyrodiversity Project, a grant that provides environmental permitting (NEPA and CEQA) for prescribed fire treatments to enhance habitat quality and provide better wildfire safety for the communities of Concow, Yankee Hill, Pulga, Paradise and Magalia. Thibault holds a BA in science and technology studies from UC Davis, as well as an MS in forestry from the University of Toronto. His graduate work focused on habitat characterization of the federally-listed Canada lynx, where he combined manually-sampled data with remote-sensing technologies to conduct landscape-scale analyses.
