Dawn Garcia is our wildlife biologist. With over 20 years' experience in wildlife monitoring, habitat assessment, research and education, she works around Northern California and the West specializing in songbird and raptor surveys. She has extensive experience with the U.S. Forest Service, nonprofits, and private companies and works on both CEQA and NEPA projects for us. She holds an M.S. in Applied Ecology from CSU, Chico, where her graduate work explored the nesting patterns of bank swallows on the Sacramento River. Dawn lives in Oroville and joined our RCD in 2020.
